Swift Paints is a new paint brand produced in South Africa that was founded by two entrepreneurs - one from the retail hardware industry and one from the corporate environment. Their combined experience not only made the partnership a great match but also provided some critical insight into the South African hardware industry. For several years now, they have owned and operated the Power Build hardware store in Modimolle.

Their next venture was to open up the Mega Paints store in Modimolle, where they learned more about the paint industry and its offering to the market. Although most larger paint brands were trusted, the cost of these products are prohibitive in the Limpopo market, so the store started to look at more cost-effective brands. It soon became clear that cheaper paint brands offered very little in terms of color variety and reputable quality. It was during this time that the concept of Swift Paints was born. The owners started experimenting with paint production early-on and soon started to grow this passion into a brand that customers loved - Swift Paints. 

 

A lot of time was spent perfecting the Swift Paints formula to ensure that the paint quality and variety was of the highest grade. The express aim of Swift Paints has always been to provide good quality paint at a good price with a variety of great color options to choose from. The company soon started to produce a large variety of water-based paints, from Contractors PVA to high quality Sheen Coat paint. They also soon realized that there was a need in the market for a good quality rubber paint, and after some experimentation, the company developed their flagship Roof Rubber formula.

 

The entire range of Swift Paint products can be purchased from the Mega Paints store in Modimolle, but the Swift Roof Rubber paint is now available for sale directly on our website and is also shipped nationwide in South Africa.
